What you need

  • 4 eggs
  • 8 spoons of sugar
  • 500ml of cream
  • 2 vanilla beans
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 little bowls, fire resistant :)
  • dripping pan
  • small blow torch

What you do

  • put the salt, half of the sugar, the cream and the vanilla beans[1] into a pot and boil it up
  • in the meantime, stir the eggs
  • set your oven to 160 C°, put the with water filled dripping pan into it
  • mix the cream and the eggs slowly
  • put the flan into the bowls
  • put the bowls into the drip pan
  • wait approx. 15-20 minutes
  • take them out and let them cool
  • add some sugar and torch it
  • let it cool down and enjoy!
