Poschtler is just a mail-checking application. There are plenty of those out there, but I wanted to do my own.

• Shows unread-mail-count in menubar
• Shows unread mail list
• Notifies you of new mails using Growl
• Double-click opens the mail
• not yet built in:
  • extensible script interface to...
    • ...invoke action on new mail (f.e. playing sounds, reading the subject...)
    • ...invoke action on predefined keyword found in subject or sender
    • ...let's see...

• MacOS X 10.5, MacOS X 10.6 or newer
