Why does iTunes Music Store work?

  • Because it's so hard to resist.

And why is that so?

  • Because it is so simple and fun to use!

In which case would iTunes Music Store not work?

  • If it was too complicated to use, including drm'ing, syncing with your iPod, the buying and downloading procedure, etc.
  • If it was not integrated in iTunes, being only one click away.

What does not matter, even if you may think it in the first place?

  • The price of the songs.

Bottom Line

If you want to have success, or people do something in a special way - make it easier to do it your way, than any other way. It's that simple. See also HowDoIGetResults.
