About

The Bosch IXO has a lot of disadvantages (which I wouldn't recommend buying it, but since I own one, why not make it better?)

• Runs about 1sec after disengaging
• Is quite pricy
• No torque setting
• One-speed
• The bit holder won't lock

Preparing a locking bit holder

I purchased a cheap, but locking bitholder. Then I cut the hex leaving about 12mm.

Drilled a 2.5mm hole

Cut M3 thread

Use a set screw
